Once credited with reinventing the boutique hotel concept, The Zetter Group have become known for value driven, boutique properties, rich with character. It is this attention to detail, narrative and the guest experience that sets The Zetter Group's properties apart from the competition.
The Zetter is a small hotel with a big heart. The building is a converted Victorian warehouse and features unique 59 bedrooms. On the ground floor of The Zetter Hotel offers two dramatic spaces side by side, the central Atrium alongside Club Zetter Wine Room & Kitchen. An independent hotel with pioneering eco-credentials, it has its own 1,500-foot bore hole, which supplies the hotel with all its water.

The Zetter Townhouse, Clerkenwell is a 13-bedroom Georgian townhouse with an award-winning cocktail lounge. Located just across the cobbles of St John's Square from The Zetter Hotel, this unique property feels more like the private residence of an eccentric (and fabulous!) great aunt than a hotel.

The Zetter Townhouse Marylebone opened in August 2015. The 24-bedroom Georgian townhouse and cocktail lounge enjoys an enviable location on Seymour Street, in chic Portman Village. The Townhouse features a spectacular Rooftop Apartment with a roof terrace and al fresco bath, 21 bedrooms and 3 studio suites. Each of the bedrooms is unique, featuring individual collections of antique furniture and curious finds. While the Townhouse in Clerkenwell is known as the home of Zetter’s Great Aunt Wilhelmina, the Marylebone property is that of our Wicked Uncle Seymour.

Mark Sainsbury & Michael Benyan first joined forces to open the multi-award winning Moro restaurant (in Clerkenwell), alongside Sam and Sam Clark.
In 2003 they reunited and founded The Zetter Group and opened the group's first venue, The Zetter Hotel in 2004 to wide acclaim.
Mark & Michael are hands-on and all about the detail. They are passionate about hospitality but they don't believe in following the pack and are always ready to challenge the norm. They are the driving force.
For the pride and joy.
We create places that play host to extraordinary experiences.
Our values are described in 3 words. Each is equally important and it's the combination of all 3 that make things uniquely Zetter.
As employers we see one of our key roles as making sure our people are happy and helping them maintain a great state of mind. If we create an environment in which our team feel content and free of stress, everything else slots into place; that’s when the magic happens.
We put our heart and soul in to everything we do and we expect the same of everyone who works with us. Generosity, energy, passion and attention to detail are characteristics of a happy team whose opinions matter.
Taking pride in what we do is hugely important to us. Success to us means more than just turning a profit. It's about doing the right thing for our people, our guests, our communities and our environment.
The Zetter's is not a 'top down' approach, we don't really "do" formal hierarchies. Ours is an open and honest culture where the owners of the business are always around and always listening. Ideas from all team members are welcome and rewarded.
What's the point if it's not fun? We throw epic staff parties, celebrate successes at the drop of a hat and generally strive to keep a smile on everyone's face.
Sustainability is at the heart of The Zetter Group's culture and we believe that this is the only way to operate. Success to us means more than just turning a profit. It's about doing the right thing for our people, our guests, our communities and our environment. It makes us feel good AND it makes good business sense.
We are proud of our achievements and accreditations. Since opening, The Zetter Hotel has been honoured with a Gold Award from Green Tourism, an award from First Mile, recognising our commitment to recycling and most recently The Good Hotel Guide’s Green Hotel for 2017.
Since opening, all three of our venues have received a plethora of awards, recognising our passion for the guest experience, the well-being of our employees and the role we play in our community and environment.
